EFA Greening

As part of the Greening measures, farmers with more than 15 ha’s of Arable land are to put 5% of the land to ecological focus areas (EFA’s). There are different EFA’s including the below options. (For the latest information on EFA's, please click here)

• Buffer Strips and Field Margins

• Catch Crops

• Cover Crops

• Nitrogen Fixing Crops 

• Fallow Land

• Hedges and Trees in a line
