This Quinoa seed blend produces an excellent palatable and nutritious food for birds, both game and wild (up to a ton per acre!). It is particularly nutritious, rich in protein and various vitamins and minerals.
Carmen is the only shooting quinoa variety to have plant breeders rights so it has to pass stringent purity and germination tests.
The seed from quinoa sheds over a long period of time, providing a continuous food source. For game cover and feed, it is great to grow with kale.
Carmen Quinoa is recognised by organisations such as the RSPB and the Game Conservancy Trust.
We recommend sowing this seed at 4 kg/acre (as a single crop) or with kale (2 kg Quinoa: 1 kg kale).
Game maize provides excellent shooting cover, and is made up of different varieties providing an all season game cover solution. The maize seed is treated with mesurol to ensure a high germination rate and growth.
